Liz Baran is the HR Director for EMC in the UK and Ireland. Baran joins EMC from the acquisition of Documentum in 2003, and retains the role of European HR Director for Documentum. Baran is responsible for the provision of the overall HR service and associated recruitment activities to all EMC operations in the UK and Ireland including; Sales, Customer Services, Professional Services, the general and administrative functions and EMEA people based in the UK.

Baran aims to build on EMC's reputation as "an Employer of Choice" - managing a business-focussed, proactive, responsive, credible, professional HR team to support the business, including recent and future acquisitions.
